We stayed for a short visit primarily to explore the beautiful Ellingham Lake and surrounding attractions. The central location made it super easy to get to the lake, just a pleasant walk away. The room was clean and offered a comfortable bed, which allowed us to rest well after our day out. it would have been nice to have some breakfast options available earlier in the morning.

Great food and cozy vibes
Really enjoyed the atmosphere here! The food was super tasty, especially the homemade pies and fish and chips. The staff were really friendly and made me feel right at home. The only bummer was the shower pressure, it could’ve been better. Still, I had a nice stay overall!

The Star Inn provided a cozy atmosphere with vibrant beers and an authentic Thai menu. I loved the steamed seabass with ginger. it was incredibly fresh. The owners exuded warmth, and my room had access to a lovely garden area. A comfortable bed made for a good night's sleep. the plumbing noise in my room was a disturbance. There was also a generator noise early in the morning that disrupted my sleep. Finding parking was inconvenient, despite being a five-minute walk away.

Sound from noisy plumbing consistently disrupted my sleep!!! The lack of parking near the venue was incredibly inconvenient!!! Room decor felt outdated, making the experience less appealing overall!!!

i had a pleasant stay at star inn. the staff were welcoming, and the food was delightful, especially the thai dishes. the room was clean and offered a comfy bed for a good night's sleep. i loved how close it was to everything we wanted to explore.

The standard double room provided a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The shower had impressive water pressure and made for a refreshing start to the day. The pub's atmosphere was vibrant, with a great selection of beers and tasty food that exceeded my expectations.
